Coffee Table Decorating

Whether you have a beautiful coffee table, or a small table like mine, decorations and merchandising can change the look AND tone of the room.

Here are a few items you will need to decorate that boring table:
1. A COFFEE TABLE TRAY
 Tray
Elephant Tray
You can find more rectangle trays at: rockflowerpaper.com
2. COFFEE TABLE BOOK
3. FLOWER ARRANGEMENT
(real or fake)
Putting flowers in a coffee mug is so different and looks great if you can cut the flowers and arrange them yourself.
Find this monogram mug at Papyrus for only $5.00.
4. A CANDLE
Illume Candles are my favorite because they’re so pretty and smell amazing.
Spring is the perfect time to clean and re-decorate your home.
I hope these tips can help you change the mood and tone of your adobe.

Transition From Winter To Spring

It’s been pretty nice in Chicago even though there’s still snow left on the ground. The big question is: what do I wear during this awkward time when it’s not spring yet? I’ve seen people walking around in the city wearing shorts and flip flops and then there’s people that are still wearing their long North Face jackets. I decided to create some Polyvore boards with different outfit inspiration ideas and color palettes for the time when it’s 50 degrees outside, but it’s still not the appropriate time to pull out those shorts.

For men, you can start wearing those brighter colors. Instead of wearing flip flops quite yet, try a pair of colored oxfords or even a pair of heavier boat shoes. Pull out the sunglasses and accessorize with a watch and belt (you can even try fun socks with the oxfords). A lighter weight button up shirt is always the perfect go-to shirt instead of just wearing a T-shirt. I decided to add a trench coat because it’s the perfect weight for that awkward time between seasons. I also love to layer outfits because it makes the whole switching seasons a lot easier.

For women, these joggers are so cute, comfy, and perfect for the in-between seasons. I decided to pair them with open toe black booties or if you don’t want to wear heels, you can simply wear them with a pair of slip-ons. I recently bought found a pair of sparkly Keds from Macy’s on sale for $13.00. I paired this outfit with a T-shirt and blazer and you can play it up with accessories. Bring out the bright colors and pastel nail polish!

Time to start cleaning out your closet and do some Spring cleaning!

Rachel Green’s Fashion

Everyone knows Jennifer Aniston’s iconic character from Friends, Rachel Green. If you’re anything like me you have seen every Friends episode out there and make references to real life situations. Not only did everyone want the “Rachel Green Haircut”, but we all wanted her effortless style. Here are some of my favorite Rachel Green looks:
When she pulled off a mini skirt with high boots, and still looked classy.
When she was about the only person who looked fabulous in denim during the 90’s.
When she pulled off the high socks look way before Ariana Grande at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

When she pulled off the high waisted shorts with tights look, and that famous haircut.

When she pulled off the turtleneck and long pencil skirt and still showed off her curves.
THIS.

And last but not least….

When Rachel got off the plane…

and pulled off the t-shirt under a tank.

Now you can binge watch all of the seasons of Friends.
