The Young and Talented

I would just like to take the time to congratulate my two best friends who have started blogging! These women are both inspirations and I am so excited to see them share their talents with everyone!

Danielle is a student at DePaul University and I go to her for all of my yoga advice (aside from everything else). She has started a yoga blog where she posts about different poses, videos, and affordable ways to do yoga as a college student! Please check out her blog here and share with your friends 🙂 As I’ve mentioned before, yoga has amazing health benefits so start following her and learn for yourself.

June is a Graphic Design major and is one of the most talented people I know! I wouldn’t be able to get through art school without her. She now helps with photographing my blog which is a blast when it’s your best friend! Watch her share all of her many talents on her blog! She posts about her outfits, things to do, music, and much more! Here take a look for yourself:)

Pop of Pink

As colorful as some of our wardrobes may be, we all have those black and white pieces that we like to overwear. If you’re like me you need a little pop of color in your outfit, whether it’s your shoes, makeup, or accessories. My favorite shoes are my pointed toe Express flats because they’re so comfy! (They still have a huge selection at stores and I have another pair in blue:) Call me crazy, but I love matching my lipstick to my shoes or other colorful accessories I have on.
I got the black and white striped button up at Zara. The black flowy tank top under is from H&M.
I got this pearl headband from Metropark a few years ago (You can find more cute hair pieces here from Aldo) Bonus: It doubles as a necklace!
The fringe purse is from H&M and is also available in black. You can find it here
They don’t have the shoes available in pink anymore but you can find more here

XOXO,
Gina Nicolette

Blazers and Best-friends

I’m so excited that one of my best friends, June, has offered to photograph for my blog. She’s such an amazing photographer and truly an inspiring person. I can’t thank her enough for the help!

The look that is photographed below is just a cute way to dress down a blazer, whether you’re going to school, a lunch date or just hanging around in the city

The necklace was a gift (from Kohl’s) and the bracelets were also gifts (from Charming Charlie’s)
The white blazer is from Forever 21 and the aqua halter is from Express
I hope you all enjoy my blog and happy shopping!
XOXO,
Gina Nicolette
