Who doesn’t love a good compliment? Every time someone repins something off your Pinterest board you can admit that it’s a validation of your good taste. We all get that same feeling when someone compliments something we are wearing or how we did our hair/makeup. I thought I would share some recent compliments I recieved so others can copy and get some of their own 😉

The “big puffy thing” on my purse

These puff balls are everywhere for like a ridiculous amount of money. I just bought one from Alta’rd State for $12 and put it on a purse I was already using

Sparkly elbow patches

I paired this with white slip on sneakers. A young mom came up to me and said I she would have to order a shirt like this to wear to her son’s baseball games. It’s a good sporty/girly outfit. I love any shirt with fun elbow patches- sparkles, leather, etc.

Weekend Attire

The weekends call for sleeping in and dressing comfy or cute (depending on what your plans are). Here are my favorite weekend outfits for all occasions.

Meeting a friend for coffee:

Pair a chambray shirt with a blanket scarf and slip on shoe.

Scarf: Pink Jules Boutique

Shoes: Steve Madden
Running errands:
Throw a leather jacket or cardigan over a graphic tee or tank and add a scarf. Pair with your favorite sneakers.
Shirt: Veruca Salt
Scarf: Claire’s
Girls night or date night:
A leather jacket is always a good idea for a date night or girls night out, as it can easily make any outfit edgy.
Scarf: Express
Leather jacket: Forever 21
Shirt: Old from Macy’s
Camo leggings: Veruca Salt
Sunday dinner with the family:

If you guys are going out for dinner you can dress it up by changing the shoes but my Sunday’s are usually a little more causal so I like to do a comfier shoe (and I usually end up running some errands before).

Necklace: New York & Company

Sweater: Banana Republic
Shoes: Steve Madden

Happy Weekend!

Gina

Thanksgiving Outfits

Whether you like to dress up for Thanksgiving or not, I always like to be comfortable (stretchy pants are a must). Here are some ideas to wear to your Thanksgiving parties:

A Comfy Sweater
I like it because it’s cute and comfy!
Sweater – Pink Jules Boutique (can be worn as a cowl neck or off the shoulder)
Booties– Steve Madden
Earrings-Topshop

A Tulle Skirt

Because it’s got an elastic waist band, duh. I like to pair it with a plaid shirt
Plaid flannel– Veruca Salt
Necklace– Forever 21
Tulle skirt– Kohl’s
A Sweater Dress
Because you can never go wrong with a sweater dress- cute and stretchy
Dress– Philosphy from Marshall’s
Boots– old from Kohl’s
Necklace– Icing

Happy Thanksgiving all!
XOXO,
Gina Nicolette
